A TYPICAL DAY
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A TYPICAL DAY AT ALMOND PARK NURSERY. OUR DAYS ARE CHILD LED OFFERING EVERY CHILD A VARIED AND EXCITING ROUTINE FOR THE DAY, MAKING EACH LEARNING EXPERIENCE AS PRECIOUS AND IMPORTANT AS THE NEXT.
We have lots for your child to discover, both indoors and out in our garden, designed by the children themselves. Each session has a purpose and an underlying outcome, but most of all we ensure that our learning through play is fun.
Playtime activities will include:
- Painting, gluing and drawing
- Imaginative play
- Sand and water play
- Stories and reading
- Construction blocks and dough
- Jigsaws and puzzles
- Supervised computer access
- Music and movement
- Cooking and baking
- Heuristic play and Transient art
- Sensory activities
